Level 2,3 Processing

Does your company typically deal with business, corporate or government GSA purchasing cards (known as p-cards or purchase cards)? If so, you can benefit from lower processing fees for Visa & MasterCard transactions by submitting Level 2 or Level 3 data (Level II / Level III).

Level 2 Data Credit Card Processing (level II)

To have your transactions qualify for level 2 pricing, you must use a certified product that collects and submits the data properly to Visa/MC.

Required Data to Qualify for Level 2:

Standard Info - credit card number & exp, billing address & zip code and invoice number.
Customer Code - a 16 character number the customer will have from their bank. If unavailable, enter something bogus such as 55555, but something must be entered.
Sales Tax - must be submitted separately from the total transaction amount.

Products Supporting Level 2 Data

Internet Gateway - such as Authorize.net (our recommendation)
Terminal Equipment - such as Verifone Tranz 380
Computer Software - such as PC Charge or IC Verify

Level 3 Data Credit Card Processing (level III)

To have your transactions qualify for level 3 pricing, you must use a certified product that collects and submits the data properly to Visa/MC.

Required Data to Qualify for Level 3:

Standard Info - credit card number & exp, billing address & zip code and invoice number.
Customer Code - a 16 character number the customer will have from their bank. If unavailable, enter something bogus such as 55555, but something must be entered.
Sales Tax - must be submitted separately from the total transaction amount.
Freight Amount - If unavailable, enter $0.00
Duty Amount - If unavailable, enter $0.00
Line Item Details:
1. Product / Service ID (item ID)
2. Product / Service Description
3. Quantity
4. Item Amount (like $100)
5. Unit of Measure

This information is used to create the customer's credit card statement as it breaks everything down for easy reporting and accounting.

What's Gotmerchant.com's Offer (level 2 & level 3)?

The rates listed below are actual Visa/MasterCard Interchange cost and includes dues & assessments (D&A), which is what V/MC receives out of all of this. Visa is 0.0925% and MC's is 0.095%.

The pricing program we are offering is what they call Interchange Plus. You will receive the actual Interchange cost listed below plus a set markup of only 0.35% for our services and the liability we assume for giving you the unsecured line of credit.
