Recover Deleted Files – With advanced software.
Files stored on a database system often are the most valuable asset of any organization. These files are data which the organization possesses. These data files are invaluable tools in the entire process of decision making.
These valuable files are often adequately protected by the organization’s control systems. These files prove to be very valuable in safeguarding the entire confidential information of the organization. Some of the ways of protecting files are taking their backups, password protecting them, getting some file encryption software and encrypting files etc. These file protecting software do just what they are intended to do – they protect files. These file protecting software, however, prove to be very costly and are not installed by some companies to cut costs. The non-installation of these file protection software often results in losing valuable files and much more valuable resources in retrieving these deleted files.
Recovering deleted files is not always possible. It takes many man hours and many resources on the part of the organization to recover these deleted files. These files, however, are not recovered with a cent per cent assurance. That is to say, there is a very big possibility of these files being not recovered at all. This is because there is never a cent per cent recovery of deleted files.
The easiest way to recover deleted files is by going to the computers recycle bin. All deleted files are sent to the computer’s recycle bin. That is because, a user might delete a file which he doesn’t want to delete, and does it by a mistake. This can be rectified by going to the recycle bin and right clicking on the deleted file. The deleted file can then be restored by selecting the restore option in the menu. The restore option is meant to recover deleted files.
The recycle bin option, however, works only if the files deleted are on the hard disk of the computer. In cases of hard drive crashes, data is often deleted and does not go to the recycle bin also. In such cases, the data can be retrieved by using the various data retrieval software available. These software, however, as said earlier, do not provide a hundred percent assurance of recovery of the files deleted. Another way to recover deleted files is to attempt a reuse of the crashed hard drive. A crashed hard drive, of course, cannot be used. However, some data recovery specialists, specialize in using crashed hard drives to recover deleted files or at least a part of the deleted files which were earlier stored on the hard drive.
